Positive impact policy in the textile chain
At NYLMA, we understand that sustainability is not just a trend, but a shared responsibility that spans the entire textile production cycle. Therefore, we launched our “Positive Impact Policy in the Textile Supply Chain,” a firm commitment to transforming the sector toward a more conscious, efficient, and circular model.
This policy aims to promote a strategic approach that prioritizes high quality with low impact, integrating environmental criteria into all operational decisions, and promoting innovation as the cornerstone of real and measurable business development.
Through this policy, we establish the following principles and commitments:
- Resource efficiency
- Reducing environmental impact in the supply chain
- Circularity and waste reduction
- Commitment to environmental regulations and certifications
- Awareness and collaboration
- Commitment to sustainability and continuous improvement
This policy is a key step toward a more resilient, innovative value chain that's prepared to face the challenges of the future. With it, we reinforce our vision of turning every meter of fabric into a driver of positive change for the planet and for people, a path that has already begun with the mitigation of 78.74 tons of CO2, the equivalent of the emissions avoided by:
- Consuming 17.5 tons of circular PES fabric,
- recycling 24.6 tons of textile waste,
- reusing 3.15 tons of clothing,
- naturally harvesting 3,750 trees for one year, or enough for 1,250 people to breathe better over the same period.
